Pork!

Today's weight : 138 pounds.

This post does not lay in line with my blog's subject but I have to write and link to it here because this is so shocking!

Eating shouldn't be a threat to nature. Is it necessary to rear and slaughter that many pigs? Do we consume that much pork or does the meat end up in dustbins and landfills, feeding cockroaches and rodents? And they in turn spread germs and diseases to humans. More than enough is not a good thing here. Having slightly less than enough might be better off.

This article tells of how pigs are reared and the bio-hazards the farming methods are creating. Yes, it probably explains why the fishes are polluted too. In my opinion, such farms should be closed down and such practices banned!

Chinese New Year

Today's weight : 138 pounds.

I broke my plateau state. But it is Chinese New Year now. What does that means? It means lots of cookies, tidbits and huge meals!

Where's the melon seeds? They are a must-eat during Chinese New Year. Heehhe Perhaps they are forgotten this year.

My mother is cooking a big meal today. But as it is only for my family of 4. It will be simple. More health threatening food to come on Monday, when more people are coming over.

I better finish up my work and go do workout. I had so many chocolate brownie squares yesterday.

Fatty Junk Food

Today's weight : 140 pounds. Still on Plateau.

My cousin stopped her daily junk food (MacDonald's) routine and lose 5 kg. She is not starving herself or limiting her calories intake, which means that even is there is no negative calories intake, she is still losing weight.

People who are routine junk food eater and are fleshy should do this experiment for fun. Stop eating junk food for a month. Record down your weight before and after experiment. Take note of your body shape. Do post a comment here to let me know how is it working for you.
